14 May Macedonian wine Tikves 1885 – Pope Francis

We are extremely proud that during this first visit tot the Republic of Nort Macedonia, His Holiness Pope Francis had the opportunity to get familiair with our premium wines.
At the reception organised at the presidential residence, the president Gjorgje Ivanov presented wines from our premium collections Barovo, Bela Voda and Domaine Lepovo as gifts to the Head of The Catholic Church and the cardinals and bishops that where part of the official delegation. These wines are part of our new brand platform – Tikves Chateaux & Domaines and were selected as most outstanding Macedonian wines to be presented as gifts to the representatives of the high delegation.
Special lables with inscription and a photo of Pope Francis were created for the occasion. His holiness was delighted by the gesture and blessed our fines wines.
The brand platform Tikves Chateux & Domaines unites Tikves premium wines produced from grapes grown in specific locations such as Bela Voda, Barovo and Lepovo since 2018 this terroir segment has been complemented with wines produced in the French winery Chateau de Gourdon, which is also part of Tikves.
We are extremely honoured and pleased that te top quality, authenticity and unique character of our wines have been recognised also in such a way.
